Prohibition of Left Hand Turn - From Princes Street into Beckhampton Street, Swindon

The Swindon Borough Council (Beckhampton Street) (Prohibition of Left Hand Turn) Order 2012

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 23rd May 2012 Swindon Borough Council made the above Orders under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be the introduction of the following change:

Prohibition of Left Hand Turn except for cyclists From Princes Street into Beckhampton Street

The Order will be operative as of 28th May 2012 and a copy of the sealed Order and plan may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during opening hours and further details are also available at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation

The normal exemptions to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in the service of a local authority apply.

If you wish to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 23rd May 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
