The Swindon Borough Council (Haydon End Lane) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2012 and The Swindon Borough Council (Shaw Road) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2012

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Orders under provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be for the prohibition of motor vehicles on Haydon End Lane from Queen Elizabeth Drive to Torun Way for distance of 388 metres.

To provide a vehicle free route for cyclist and pedestrians. Access to Haydon Farm to be maintained. Shaw Road from the junction with The Chesters for a distance of 65 metres in a north westerly.

Statutory exemptions to emergency services and other vehicles used by the Council and utilities to be maintained A copy of the relevant documents for the Orders may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours from 1 June to 21 June 2012.

Objections to the proposed Orders stating and the grounds of the objection should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting reference (za/haydon end lane/prohibition) or za/shaw rd/prohibition) by no later than 21 June 2012.
