Swindon Big Arts Day Restrictions

SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL AND WILTSHIRE COUNCIL
(HOOK STREET, SWINDON) (SWINDON BIG ARTS DAY)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION) ORDER 2012 and SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL (HAY LANE. TREGOZE WAY AND GRANGE PARK WAY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION) ORDER 2012

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council in pursuance of the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intends to make the above Orders the effect of which will be:

Road Name: Hook Street
Restriction: One way traffic from its junction with Bess Road, travelling in a north westerly direction for approx. 230 metres
Alternative Route/Enforcement Information: via Greatfields which lead to Coped Roundabout, Swindon Road (Wootton Bassett), Great Western

Road Name: Tregoze Way and Hay Lane
Restriction: The entire lengths of Tregoze Way and Hay Lane from Tewkesbury Way to Grange Park Way
Alternative Route/Enforcement Information: Via Tewkesbury Way and Grange Park Way

Road Name: Tregoze Way, Hay Lane and Grange Park Way
Restriction: No waiting and loading at any time on the entire lengths of Tregoze Way, Hay Lane and the section of Grange Park Way from the Sudeley Way roundabout junction to Greendown Community School in a westerly direction
Alternative Route/Enforcement Information: All restrictions will be indicated by signs and traffic cones. Any contravention to the above restrictions will be issued with a PCN in accordance with the Traffic management Act 2004, s.78, Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007 and Civil Enforcement of Parking contraventions (England) Representations and Appeals Regulations 2007

Access to be maintained for local residents via permits issued by Lydiard Park Management.

The Order is required to facilitate the Swindon Big Arts Day at Lydiard Park on the Saturday

14th July 2012 and will be operational from 9 am to 10 pm.
