Swindon Borough Council (Highworth Road, Honda Link Road, Honda North and Rat Trap Roundabouts, Swindon) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2012 Swindon Borough Council (Kingsdown Road and Vickers Roundabout, Swindon) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2012

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Orders under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will a reduction in the speed limit from 50 mph to 40mph on Highworth Road and Kingsdown Road as follow:

Highworth Road 20 metres north of the Honda North Roundabout to approx. 50 metres north of the Vickers Roundabout including the circulatory carriageway of the Vickers Roundabout for a distance of approx. 700 metres in length.

Kingsdown Road From the junction with Vickers Roundabout for a distance 57.7 metres in a westerly direction.

The following Orders are to be revoked and reanacted in the above Orders:

Swindon Borough Council (Highworth Road, Honda Link Road, Honda North and Rat Trap Roundabouts, Swindon) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2011

Swindon Borough Council (Kingsdown Road and Vickers Roundabout, Swindon) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2011

A copy of the relevant documents for the Orders may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours from 22 June 2012 to 12 July 2012.

Objections to the proposed Orders stating and the grounds of the objection should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting the reference of the Orders (za/highworth Road 40 mph) by no later than 12 July 2012.
