1. SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD AND FOOTWAY CLOSURES (PRINCES STREET AND ISLINGTON STREET) ORDER 2012

2. SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL TEMPORARY LOADING RESTRICTIONS (SANFORD ROAD, SWINDON) ORDER 2012

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council made Orders on 4th July 2012 under Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Act for the following changes;

1. Temporary footway closures to the west side of Princes Street and the east side of Islington Street from Fleming Way to the rear of the Magistrates Court.

2. Temporary road closure of Islington Street southbound from Fleming Way to the rear entrance of the Magistrates Court

3. Temporary introduction of “No Loading at any Time” on the east side of Sanford Street between the junctions of College Street and Edgeware Road.

Alternative routes for pedestrians are to use the opposite side of the roads.

Alternative route for Islington Street traffic is via College Street, Sanford Street and Edgeware Road.

These Orders are required to enable access for contractors during development works.

The Orders will come into operation on 9th July 2012 for 18 months although it is anticipated work will be completed by summer 2013.
