Swindon Borough Council (Broad Street, Swindon) (Athletics Event) (Temporary Closure and Restriction) Order 2012

Notice is Hereby Given Swindon Borough Council made above Order under the provisions of Section 16a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, to impose a road closure and no waiting and no loading at any time restrictions to facilitate a sporting event on the 18 July 2012 from 1pm to 7pm as follow:

Broad Street The section which begins from after its junction with Ponting Street to before its junction with Graham Street in a easterly direction and covering junctions with Gladstone Street and Salisbury Street.

Gladstone Street The section from the entrance of Broadgreen Centre and No 74 Gladstone Street to the alleyway situated behind No’s 113 and 114 Broad Street in a southerly direction and covering the junction with Broad Street.

Salisbury Street From the alleyway located behind the hall of St Lukes Church to thealleyway to the rear of No’s 103 and 104 Broad Street in a southerly direction and covering the junction with Broad Street.

Pedestrian access to properties and access to alleyways to be maintained.

The ‘limited waiting’ and ‘residents parking’ on any section of Broad Street, Gladstone Street and Salisbury Street specified above shall be temporarily suspended for the duration of this Order.

All restrictions and diversions will be indicated by signs. Date: 17 July 2012
