Notice is hereby given that Swindon Borough Council propose to make an Order under Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the temporary closure of the roads listed below to allow for resurfacing works and other highway works to be take place.

2012 *Downton Road including suspension of one way. Over 2 Sundays Local Diversion to be posted on site

2103 Ferndale Road between North Star Avenue and Whitehouse Road including the junction Over 1 Sunday Via Whitehouse Rd, Great Western Way, North Star Avenue or via Northern Rd, Beech Ave, Pinehurst Rd and vice versa

2104 Tregoze Way between Tewkesbury Way and Wilmot Close Over 2/3 days only Via Tewkesbury Way, Whitehill Way, Grange Park Way, Hay Lane and vice versa.

2106 Corton Crescent between Whitehill Way and Rivenhall Road Over 2/3 days working from 6pm to 6am Via Ashlington Way, Tewkesbury Way, Whitehill Way and vice versa.

2107 Marlowe Avenue between Ringwood Close and Midhurst Avenue Over 2/3 Sundays Via Drakes Way, Queens Drive, Whitbourne Ave, Shaftesbury Ave and vice versa.

2111 *Green Road between Wheeler Ave and Old Dairy Close. Over 2 working days between 9am to 6pm Via Wheeler Ave, Headlands Grove, Cricklade Rd, Beechcroft Rd, St Philips Rd and vice versa

2111 *St Philips Road between Dores Road and Haig Close Over 2 working days between 9am to 6pm Via Beechcroft Rd and Dores Rd and vice versa

2113 Mill Lane between Westleaze Cat Hotel and Westleaze Cottages Over 2/3 days only Via Westlecot Rd, Croft Rd, Backhorse Way and vice versa

2114 *Kingshill Road between Westlecott Place and Bath Road. Over 2/3 days overnight Inbound via Westcott Place And Outbound via Bath Road

2115 *High Street, Blunsdon between Ermin Street and Hatchers Crescent. Over 2/3 days Via Ermin Str, Cricklade Rd, Sams Lane and vice versa

Advance notification for each of the above road closure will take place on site at least 14 days before any closures comes into effect. Access to be maintained where possible. Any closure above marked with a * will also be subject to a temporary No Waiting and Loading At Any Time Restrictions which will be indicated on site with signs and traffic cones.

Any contravention to the waiting and loading restrictions will be issued with a PCN in accordance with the Traffic management Act 2004, s.78, Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007 and Civil Enforcement of Parking contraventions (England) Representations and Appeals Regulations 2007

The Order will come into force on the 6 August 2012 and will remain in force for 18 months.
