Swindon Borough Council - Temporary Road Closures

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council made an Order under Section 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the temporary closure of the roads listed below to allow for resurfacing works and other highway works to be take place.

TTRO 2011 Southwick Avenue between Downton Road and Bratton Close Duration of Closure: Over 2 days only Alternative Route: Via Penhill Way

TTRO 2109 Leigh Road Duration of Closure: Over 2/3 days only Alternative Route: Access to be maintained

TTRO 2108 Leighton Avenue between Wolsely Avenue and Cranmore Avenue Duration of Closure: Over 2/3 days only Alternative Route: Via Cranmore Avenue and Wolsely Avenue

TTRO 2018 Wolseley Avenue between Queens Drive and Cranmore Avenue Duration of Closure: Over 2/3 days only Alternative Route: Via Queens Drive, Rushton Road or Whitbourne Avenue and Cranmore Avenue

TTRO 2112 Wheeler Avenue between Headlands Grove and Green Road Duration of Closure: Over 2 days working 9 am to 6 pm Alternative Route: Via Headlands Grove and Green Road

TTRO 2101 Drakes Way service road between Marlowe Avenue and Sackville Close Duration of Closure: Over 2/3 days only Alternative Route: Via Maitland Rd, Frobisher Drive and Raleigh Ave

TTRO 2116 Queens Drive, Highworth Duration of Closure: Over 2/3 days only Alternative Route: Access will be maintained

TTRO 2100 Sudeley Road (west and east) Duration of Closure: Over 2/3 days only Alternative Route: For West Via Grange Park Way

The works are expected to take place during any time from 30th July to end of February 2013.

Advance notification for each of the above road closure will take place on site at least 14 days before any closures comes into effect.

 The Order will come into force on the 30 July 2012 and will remain in force for 18 months.
