Swindon Borough Council - Waiting and Loading Restrictions and Parking Places
Experimental Order (No 1) 2011 - Modification No. 2
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 1 August 2012 Swindon Borough Council hereby make the following modification to the above mentioned Experimental Order (as modified) in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the modification is to:
Relocation of limited Waiting bay to original location and the re-introduction of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ on Lansdown Road adjacent to Hythe Road Shop.
Re-introduction of ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ and reduction in size of the residents parking bay in Dover Street (west side), Prospect Place (south side opposite No’s 44 to 45), Kent Road (north side opposite No 93) and Hythe Road (east side opposite Hythe Mews)
Introduction of shared use bays (limited/resident permit holder parking) to existing resident parking bays in Zone D as follow:
Ashford Road (south side adjacent to No 8 to Ashford Road Club) Mon-Sat 9am-10pm resident permit holders zone D or Mon-Sat 9am-6pm limited waiting 2 hours no return within 1 hour
Eastcott Road (east side adjacent to Heritage House to No. 2) Mon-Sat 9am-10pm resident permit holders zone D or Mon-Sat 9am-6pm limited waiting 1 hour no return within 1 hour.
Pembroke Street (north side adjacent to 48 Pembroke Street to No 1 Eastcott Hill) Mon-Sat 9am-10pm resident permit holders zone D or limited waiting 2 hours no return within 1 hour
A copy of this modification, the experimental Order and plans may be inspected at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours or online at www.swindon.gov.uk/highwayregulation
Any person wishing to make representations whether to object or support the modification before it is made permanent , must do so in writing quoting the reference (TRO/Experimental Mod 2/Zones D+E) specifying the grounds on which they are made, by the revised date of 1st February 2013.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 1st August 2012 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
