Swindon Borough Council (A346 Marlborough Road) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 2012

Swindon Borough Council (New Road, Chiseldon) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2012

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make the above Orders under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:

Reduction in the speed limit from 50mph to 40mph on the A346 Marlborough Road from the southbound exit of Junction 15 to 50 metres south of its junction with the Ridgeway for a distance of 1474 metres.

Reduction in the speed limit from 40mph to 30mph on New Road, Chiseldon from the junction with the A346 Marlborough Road to a point 109 metres east of its junction with Mays Lane.

The following Orders are to be revoked: The County of Wiltshire (A. 345 Marlborough Road, Chiseldon) 50 mph Speed Limit Order 1981 and The County of Wiltshire (New Road, Chiseldon) (40 mph Speed Limit) Order 1992.

A copy of the relevant documents for the Orders may be inspected at Customer Services, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normal office hours from 10th August 2012 to 31 August 2012.

Objections to the proposed Orders stating and the grounds of the objection should be made in writing to reach the undersigned, quoting the reference of the Orders (za/A346 and New Road Speed Limit) by no later than 31st August 2012.
