Temporary Orders for Closure of Ermin Street, Swindon
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council proposes to make temporary Orders for the closure of Ermin Street for approximately 50 metres either side of the railway bridge adjacent to the A419/A420 roundabout and for the weight restrictions along Ermin Street to be suspended for the duration of the works.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians except for the early hours of Sunday 11th November and Sunday 18th November between 1.00am and 8.00am
Alternative routes are via Oxford Road, Greenbridge Roundabout, Swindon Road and Grange Drive and vice-versa.
These Orders are for contractors to remove a footbridge.
This Order will come into operation on 9th November 2012 for 12months although it is anticipated work will be completed by 26th November 2012.
