NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HIGHWORTH RURAL DISTRICT DEFINITIVE MAP AND
STATEMENT
FOOTPATH 7 BLUNSDON ST ANDREW & FOOTPATH 8 STRATTON ST MARGARET MODIFICATION ORDER 2012

On 5 September 2012 Swindon Borough Council confirmed the above order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Highworth Rural District Council definitive map and statement by upgrading to a restricted byway the public right of way from Kingsdown Lane, in the parish of Blunsdon St Andrew at OS grid reference SU41604 18955 to Highworth Road in the parish of Stratton St Margaret at OS grid reference SU41802 18912.

A copy of the order as confirmed and the order map may be seen at the One Stop Shop, Beckhampton Street, Swindon from 8.30am to 6pm Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the order and map, costing £15.00, may be purchased there.

The order comes into force on 22 October 2012, but if a person aggrieved by the order wishes to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, that person may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 of the Act, within 42 days from the date of this notice make an application to the High Court.
