NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Swindon Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, propose to implement a zebra crossing on Whitworth Road just west of the Crossways Roundabout. The objective of the zebra crossing is to provide a safe crossing facility for both pedestrians and cyclists and assess impact on traffic flows.

A copy of this public notice and plan may be inspected at the One-Stop-Shop, Wat Tyler House, Euclid Street, Swindon during normaloffice hours and online at http://www.swindon.gov.uk/

Any person wishing to comment on the proposal outlined above should do so in writing to the undersigned quoting reference (ZA/Whitworth Rd/Zebra) by no later than 9 November 2012.
