The Good Nurse Award
We are looking for a health care professional who demonstrates an innovative and caring approach to their work. This person must demonstrate outstanding levels of commitment to patient care and put the patient at the heart of what they do. Entrants can be from any health care profession, and can work anywhere, from community care to surgical theatres.
Sponsors message Practice Plus Group Surgical Centre, Devizes provides high-quality day surgery treatment in Wiltshire with a dedication to delivering the highest standards and quality and safety. We will treat you quickly and support you in recovery, helping you to feel better, faster. Our clean, modern and comfortable Wiltshire surgical centre specialises in planned surgery for NHS, private and insured patients. The centre offers a broad range of treatments including minor orthopaedic surgery, cataract removal, ear, nose and throat surgery, men and women’s healthcare, dental surgery and diagnostic imaging.
Centre director Chester Barnes explained: “We have a dedicated team of skilled staff, some of whom have been with us many years. We offer high quality consultations and procedures in a warm and reassuring environment that our patients tell us they really value. We know that anxious patients and those with limited mobility can benefit from our smaller scale service that still offers the same high levels of clinical care they would expect in larger regional hospitals.”
“We are proud to be partnering with the Swindon & Wiltshire Health & Social Care Awards 2021 and supporting The Good Nurse Award. Nurses are a vital part of healthcare services, providing safe and effective clinical care across all disciplines and ensuring a high standard of patient care. Nurses make all the difference to patient experience, often going above and beyond to ensure they are comfortable and well cared for. All nurses are well deserving of recognition for their hard work and we greatly look forward to presenting this award.”
