The national weather service has released its weather forecast for Friday, November 5, otherwise known as Guy Fawkes Night.
If you're hoping to catch a professional display with the family or you prefer to whip out a sparkler in the garden, here's the weather you can expect for the fireworks this Saturday.

Met Office weather forecast for Bonfire Night
The Met Office predicts that Saturday will start out with heavy rain turning to thundery showers by late morning.
As the day progresses, the weather forecaster says we should expect rain throughout the day and thunder from 3 pm right through until 9 pm - so be prepared if you heading out to catch a display!
Temperatures will range from 8C to 13C throughout the day and are expected to drop to 9C in the evening so wrap up warm if you are heading out to a display.

BBC weather forecast for Bonfire Night
Meanwhile, the BBC also predicts that we'll need to remember, remember an umbrella this Guy Fawkes night.
We can expect light showers early on with a moderate breeze which will continue throughout the day.
There is roughly a 50% chance of rain right up until 6 pm but this is expected to drop slightly to between 30 - 40% in the evening.
According to the forecast, the temperatures will range from 13C at their highest and drop to 8C at their lowest.
