WHAT’S IT LIKE? Well-known previously as The Kings Arms but recently renamed as 20 at The Kings, this is one of the grand old buildings of Swindon. After a major refurbishment in March 2002 and 2012, the Kings is a bar, hotel and a centre for functions, wedding receptions, conferences and seminars.
WHO GOES THERE? Situated at 20 Wood Street in Old Town, 20 at The Kings offers something for everyone – day or night. The downstairs bar attracts Old Town business people for lunch and lively young people in the evenings. For drinking, the bar is open all-day, everyday for coffee, plus all your favourites beers, wines and shots. The venue also serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday Lunch carvery.
PRICES? 20 at The Kings serves a whole range of drinks, including 3Bs for £3.20, Wiltshire Gold for £3.20, Kingsdown for £3.30, Carling for £3, Kronenberg for £3.90, Peroni for £4.60, Guinness for £3.80 and a large glass of house wine for £4.90.
