International Recording Artist Jay Aston from Gene Loves Jezebel is dropping in on a Cirencester festival this weekend.
Jay was in the UK recording his latest project, when he got a message form one of the organisers of Cirencester’s Phoenix Festival.
Presuming him to be in his usual sunny LA haunt, spending his well deserved royalties, Dean of Exposure Music Awards®, who is programming The Acoustic Stage for the festival, contacted Jay to see if he knew of any up and coming artists in South Central Britain, able to fill a last minute cancellation.
The reply simply read… “I’m available …”
Jay Aston Plays on The Acoustic Stage at The Phoenix festival in Cirencester on Sunday 31st August, at 2.30pm.
He said: " I'll be making a surprise appearance at The Phooenix in Cirencester playing as acousitc set at a free gig in a beautiful place.''
Gene Loves Jezebel are a goth-rock band formed in the early 1980s, now two separate bands of the same name, founded by identical twin brothers, Jay who was born John Peter Aston and Michael.
