MORE than 70 new acts have been announced for the Reading and Leeds Festivals, including the likes of alt-J, Palma Violets, Drenge and Twin Atlantic.
The festivals, which run across the August bank holiday wekened, will be headline by Mumford and Sons, Metallica and The Libertines.
Main stage additions this week saw alt-J joined by Palma Violets, Drenge, Modestep, FIDLAR and Japanese metal idol band Babymetal.
Away from the Main Stage, Parquet Courts and Echosmith will perform alongside Twin Atlantic on the NME/BBC Radio 1 Stage.
Meanwhile, the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage will see names like Jacob Plant, MK, Blonde Live, Rustie and Snakehips over the weekend.
Over at the BBC 1Xtra Stage, the legend that is Ms Dynamite is bringing back the dy-na-mi-tee, with Tempa T, Loyle Carner and Kiko Bun performing over the three days.
The Lock Up will be hosting Modern Baseball, The Bots, The Smith Street Band and Youth Man, while The Pit will be rocking your ears with Atryu, PVRIS, And So I Watch You From Afar and many more.
While the Festival Republic Stage will host fresh up-and-coming acts such as Saint Raymond, Little Comets, Eliza And The Bear, Mini Mansions and oh so many more will be taking to the well-loved stage.
