NAYLOR Peter Passed away peacefully in Cheltenham on March 21st, after a long illness, aged 87. Taught Physics at The College, Swindon up to 1997 and was one of the first Science Foundation lecturers locally with the Open University. Peter and family moved south from Lancashire in 1963, and he lived in Blunsdon for nearly fifty years before finally moving to Cheltenham. Widow to May (née Farrimond), father to Don (Donald) and Howard, grandfather to Will and Lois. Cremation to be held in Cheltenham on 14th April at 2.30pm. Due to current restrictions, attendance is by video link at www.obitus.com only. Peter's family requests no flowers. Any donations to Lilian Faithfull Care. An utter legend, pipe, pint of wood in the Beehive at lunch and end of day. They don't make em like Pete Naylor anymore which is a shame.
When the pubs open again I will have a drink in his honour.
Peter taught me at Swindon College between 1975 & 1980. A superb teacher. So helpul, knowledgable & kind. His communication skills were brilliant & myself and others relished his classes.
