BOLAND David Phillip Passed away on 7th April 2020, aged 76 years. A very precious husband to Bernice, special dad to Nicola and Steven and father-in-law to Derek and Audrey. A dear bampy to Alex, Kieran, Jaeden and Emily. "A piece of us is missing, now that we are apart, Our memories so treasured, forever in our hearts" David was a kind, caring and loving man who will be missed by all who knew him, forever loved by all his family and friends. Due to the current situation, a private funeral will take place. A memorial service and celebration of David's life will be arranged at a later date. I grew up two doors away from David. He was the lead singer in our teenage skiffle group The Five Aces.The highlight of our musical career was playing Saturday morning cinema at The Gaumont . Dave’s mum would welcome the gang of about six of us in to watch tale as the Boland were about the first to have a TV in the street. Dave was a good friend and although I only saw him a few times recently down at the Surgery we would reminisce on how lucky we were growing up together. Rest in peace mate.
