DALEKS invaded a supermarket as part of a charity event.
Two Daleks, K-9 and two other Doctor Who characters were at Sainsbury’s Bridgemead on Saturday to help raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Simon Belcher, PR ambassador for the store, said: “As a store we have a very good relationship with Marie Curie.
“The reaction from the staff and customers on Saturday was amazing. One of the daleks sang ‘I love you, baby’ to one of the customers. One of the staff in the kiosk had so many tears of laughter she had to stop the queue before she could carry on with the next customer.
“The whole event was magical. As a store we try to do anything we can to help the local community.”
Marie Curie Cancer Care is a UK charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal cancer and other illnesses.
The supermarket’s charity of the year is Calm, Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Movement.
Sainsbury’s Bridgemead will be holding a fundraiser for Calm on Friday.
