Doctors at the Great Western Hospital are urging young people to have their free annual chlamydia test.
Chlamydia is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the UK and is most common in men and women under the age of 25.
In the last year, 683 people in Swindon under the age of 25 tested positive for chlamydia.
Self test kits are available for free to all 15-24 year olds from Swindon Health Centre on Carfax Street or from the Sexual Health Clinics at Swindon College on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11.30am until 1.30pm and at New College on Mondays from 11.30am until 1.30pm.
Testing is also available at the GWH by appointment only. Call 01793 604038.
