Do you cook a lot yourself? What is your failsafe dish?
I cook most weekends and my failsafe dish is either Mexican burritos or a chicken curry.
Where do you like to eat out? How often?
I like a nice Italian restaurant but don’t get out to eat as often as I would like.
What do you always hope to find on a menu? For starter? Main course? Dessert?
This is a big ask there are so many. I do like mussels for a starter (if in season), usually a rib eye or T bone steak for main, and if there’s a cheese board on the menu that’s my dessert.
Which foods did you hate as a child? Do you eat them now?
I have never been a fussy eater.
What’s your favourite drink? Alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Alcoholic is Holsten Pils (being a diabetic it is virtually sugar free) or a nice gin & tonic (industrial size of course!) Non-alcoholic would be a nice cup of coffee.
Marmite: yes or no?
Definitely!
What’s your guilty pleasure when it comes to food...something you know you shouldn’t eat, but do anyway?
Sticky toffee pudding – yummy.
You are on your own at home watching a film. What is your snack of choice?
Cheese and biscuits or a bag of Doritos with a dip (or both!). Naughty but ever so nice!
You are eating a bacon sandwich... ketchup, brown sauce or nothing at all?
Brown every time!
