ROYAL WOOTTON BASSETT: The Rotary Club of Royal Wootton Bassett Town presented a cheque for £1,700 to Prostate Cancer UK after the money was raised at a Golf Competition.
The cheque was presented to Jim on August 4 by Club President Ceri Pridding after the money was raised at the fundraising event.
Jim, who suffers with prostate cancer, talked in detail about the disease, its symptoms and its treatment.
He also offered advice to Rotary Club members about how to look out for signs of the condition.
The money will go towards researching the disease and supporting sufferers.
