KEEN youngsters who took part in the Rotary Club’s District 1100’s 2014 RYLA course celebrated their achievement at a special presentation.
Charlie Woodhall, who was the candidate selected by the Rotary Club of Royal Wootton Bassett Town, was one of 38 teenagers aged 16 to 18 who had been sponsored to take part in the course.
At the presentation event they all proudly took to the stage in front of their sponsors, friends and family telling them how they had overcome fear and trepidation to take part in the six day course, where they took part in physical activities including canoeing and climbing they also had group tutorials to equip them with skills for team building and leadership.
They also were given an insight into the work of Rotarians worldwide and an talk from the charity, ShelterBox.
