Fifties fun at garden party
SWINDON: A Garden Party to Remember, to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research UK takes place at Orchid Care Home on August 23 from 11am to 3.30pm. Everyone is welcome. There will be a 1950s fancy dress competition for children, raffle, cream teas, BBQ, face painting, a bouncy castle and more.
It will culminate in the handing over of the cheque to Alzheimer’s Research UK at the Gig to Remember 2014 at Oasis in Swindon on November 8.
