A KNITTING group is doing a woolly good thing by selling their creations to raise money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Knitwitz members are making blankets for the charity. The group meets once a month and has 20 members as well as dozens of contributors.
Stacey Page, 28, who lives in Park North, said: “We want to do all we can to support Wiltshire Air Ambulance through selling our creations to the public or having them as prizes in raffles.”
Knitwitz supported the charity last year and raised £130 for the charity. It costs £700,000 each year to keep the helicopter in the air helping those who need urgent assistance.
Stacey said: “The air ambulance does such a great job and benefits everyone across Wiltshire and we are proud to support it.”
Knitwitz would welcome donations of wool to help with their charity projects.
