POLICE officers are currently speaking with the family of Christopher Mead, who was reported missing at 8.36am this morning.

Mr Mead, 23, of Haydon Wick, was last seen at 2am by his family, who reported his disappearance to Wiltshire Police more than six hours later.

Officers are trying to establish more background information on Mr Mead before expanding their search.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: "He is being treated as a medium risk at the moment and the relevant policing units are currently dealing with it.

"He was reported missing at 8.36am, so we are still conducting initial inquiries."
