Children help town’s carers
SWINDON: Children at Shaw Ridge Primary School have raised more than £1,500 in support of the Swindon Carers Centre during National Carers Week.
Classmates banded together to walk at least a mile around the school fields, raising an impresive £1,679.50 for the charity, and the school presented them with a cheque last month. For more information on Swindon Carers visit swindoncarers.org.uk/for-carers/young-carers.
