HOUSEHUNTERS considering a new home at Taylor Wimpey’s Greenfields on the Ridgeway Farm development could be eligible for the Help To Buy scheme.
The housebuilder will hold an information session for those wanting to find out more about the scheme on Saturday August 23 from 10am to 5pm.
Under Help To Buy, eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell can access a 20 per cent equity loan towards the cost of any new home at Greenfields, meaning they only require a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent loan-to-value mortgage.
Help To Buy is available on new homes up to the value of £600,000 and there is no salary cap for purchasers taking advantage of the scheme.
Stephanie Kehoe, the regional sales manager for Taylor Wimpey, said: “Help To Buy is the perfect solution for would-be buyers who are struggling to step on or up the property ladder and all the information people might need about this superb scheme will be available during our special Help To Buy Event.
“Help To Buy makes it possible to secure a dream home for less at our newly-launched Greenfields at Ridgeway Farm development, and then enjoy the benefits of lower monthly mortgage repayments.
“I’d urge anyone interested in finding out more to come along and see us.”
