LOCAL Zurich employees have presented a cheque for £55,000 to the company’s charity. The Zurich Cares Dream Team Marathon runners presented the money they raised to the Zurich Community trust outside their offices this week. Members of the team, including Tim Culling, the chairman of Zurich Community Trust, were there with their medals received when they took part in the London Marathon this year. The group raised approximately £25,000 but the company matched the sum to help it reach the £55,000 grand total. Tim said a few words to thank them and then received the cheque on behalf of the trust.
The money will be split across all of the trust’s charities.
