A Woman driver had a lucky escape when her overturned yesterday morning.
She was driving on the A4361 from Wroughton when the car came off the road and ended up on its roof in the hedge of an adjacent field.
The woman was unhurt although she was checked by paramedics at the scene.
The cause of the incident, which took place shortly before 9am, is unknown but no other vehicles were involved and the woman was not charged with any offence.
The car, a blue Mitsubishi Colt, remained at the side of the road for several hours while police waited for it to be removed.
One lane was closed until 10.30am while the recovery took place but there were no hold-ups on the road.
