people are invited to attend the latest free health lecture at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon, How to Survive Your Menopause.
The talk tomorrow will be led by David Griffiths, consultant gynaecologist, and Chris Pearce, a nurse consultant, and cover all aspects of the menopause including symptoms and what treatments are available.
Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions and get expert advice.
Vimbai Lyons, governance officer, who organised the health talk, said: “Our trust is full of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who are experts on health conditions which affect hundreds of people every day, such as menopause. The aim of our health talks is to share this wealth of knowledge so local people can learn more about various conditions and how to manage them. The talks are free and anyone can attend, so don’t be shy.”
Booking is not required. The talk will be held in Lecture Hall 1 of The Academy on the lower ground floor of the hospital on. Refreshments will be provided from 6pm and the talk starts at 6.30pm.
