POLICE have released CCTV images of a man they are keen to speak to in connection with a series of burglaries in Wroughton.
A number of properties have been targeted in recent weeks, with thieves breaking in through insecure rear windows.
Wiltshire Police are particularly keen to speak to a male who has been seen acting suspiciously in the Wroughton area during the late evening so they can eliminate him from their enquiries.
PC James Button said: "Wroughton is an extremely safe place to live however we have seen a slight increase in the number of burglaries and attempted burglaries on houses in the last few weeks.
"We would always advise local residents to keep their houses secure by closing and locking downstairs windows and removing any tools from gardens which could be used to assist entry into a property."
Anyone with information about the burglaries should contact Wiltshire Police on 101, the Swindon Police Priority Crime Team on 01793 507912, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
