STANTON Park will host a charity Christmas celebration on Saturday.
Attractions on offer at the park from 4pm to 8pm include storytelling at the cottage, festive food and the chance to make your own wreath.
From 7pm, The Great Barn will host a brass-accompanied carol service, featuring the Rev Helen Baber, of St Leonard’s Church, and the Stanton Fitzwarren and the Gorse Hill Salvation Army Band.
People attending should meet at the Stanton Park Ranger Centre and come prepared with a blanket and a torch for the carol service.
There is some seating available but people are advised to bring a folding chair if possible.
Hot drinks and Christmas goodies will be available.
Wreaths cost £4 each and a children’s workshop is priced at £1.
All money raised will be donated to the Salvation Army and the St Leonard’s Church roof fund.
Places need to be booked in advance on 01793 490150 or by email to swindonrangers@swindon.gov.uk
