VOTERS will have a special chance to quiz Swindon’s parliamentary candidates at a hustings event organised by the Advertiser and the Wyvern Theatre.
People will be able to hear from the General Election candidates on April 27 and April 28, a week before the national political showdown.
Tickets to the event are free, but are limited to four a person.
Readers can submit questions for the candidates on the night before the debates begin. However, it is recommended they send their questions in early to stand a better chance of having them answered.
Advertiser editor Gary Lawrence, who will be the chairman at both events, said: “This is a fantastic chance to see the candidates discussing issues that affect Swindon."
“None of them will be allowed to hide behind party rhetoric or tired old election cliches. This will be about the topics that matter to the people of Swindon and their responses could be key to how the election pans out for them. I’m looking forward to seeing the questions.”
Readers can email questions to questions@wyverntheatre.org.uk stating which constituency they are intended for. To reserve your place visit swindontheatres.co.uk
