A MAN who is charged with carrying out a serious assault has been released on bail by a judge.
Mark Dowman, of Derby Court, Walcot, is accused of causing grievous bodily harm with intent on Tuesday, March 31.
No charges was formally put to the 43-year-old and he did not enter a plea during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Recorder Michael Vere-Hodge QC adjourned the case to Friday, June 12, and released him on conditional bail until then.
