A WOMAN whose victim had a heart attack after being stabbed has been remanded in custody by a judge.
Tanya Porter, 34, had gone to her victim's home following a row about money in the run up to the knife attack.
After barging her way into the house and stealing a wallet, while a pal snatched a laptop, Porter pulled a knife.
And in the following struggle, on Wednesday, January 20, Moira McGregor was stabbed with the blade and went on to suffer a cardiac arrest.
A second woman, Angela Phull-Wilson, was also injured with the knife in the fracas.
Porter, of Bodmin Close, Park North, pleaded guilty to burglary, unlawful wounding, causing grievous bodily harm and having a bladed article.
Kerry Duggan, 28, of Beaulieu Close, Toothill, pleaded guilty to burglary when she took the Lenovo computer.
Colin Meeke, prosecuting, told Swindon Crown Court: "Miss Porter went round to the home occupied by Phull-Wilson and McGregor.
"She had had discussion or argument with them about some money that was owed. When the door was opened she barged in.
"She did have a knife but no intention to use it. My learned friend says it was a different knife she picked up later that inflicted the injuries.
"The unlawful wounding is injuries caused to Miss Phull-Wilson.
"In respect of Miss McGregor, she suffered not only knife wounds but as a result a heart attack.
"It is accepted Miss Duggan entered as a burglar and took the laptop. It is accepted she did not have knowledge of the knife or any other hostile intent on the part of Miss Porter.
"I understand Miss Porter said she did not 'slash wildly' with the knife but it was part of the struggle over the wallet and computer."
Judge Peter Blair QC adjourned the case to Friday, March 11, so the probation service can compile pre-sentence reports and remanded the pair in custody.
