Adrian Embing, one of the UK's top mental health trainers is comign to Swindon.
The recently rebranded DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon is to host a session of the highly successful Swindon Mindful Employer Network which features Adrian Embling of Mindset Wessex. The seminar is on Monday 13th March.
By popular demand, Adrian returns to present his course entitled Managing Workplace Stress: Back to the Future which highlights the need to go beyond legal obligations to form wellbeing strategies which supports both the employee and the employer. The session will also consider how to reduce conflicts and confrontations and how to create supportive approaches to helping colleagues who may be experiencing stress in the workplace.
Adrian said: “It is wonderful to be asked back again to present the Managing Workplace Stress course at the Swindon Mindful Employer Network. These sessions have been produced and updated with help from the employers and employees who I have supported over many years. Tackling stress should be more than just a few lines in a policy document or a health and safety manual – businesses need to accept that stress is present in every work environment and how we manage this stress can have implications on business outcomes.”
Peter Hendry, General Manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon, said: “We are pleased to host the Swindon Mindful Employer Network for the first time and welcome network members to our hotel. Having heard about the success of the group and the important emphasis on mental health at work we were delighted to invite them to our hotel and look forward to another fascinating session. I encourage representatives of local employers to book a place in the near future and join us at the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon in March.”
