Police called to Kingshill burglary
A burglar on the prowl on Kingshill prompted a 999 call.
Police were called at 10.30pm on Thursday to reports of a burglary in process.
Up to six marked and unmarked patrol cars could be seen on Kingshill Road, an eyewitness said.
It is not yet known what, if anything, was taken from the house.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to call 101 or report it anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
