A COACH fire has partially closed the A419 this morning. 

Four crews from Stratton, Drove Road and Royal Wootton Bassett fire station were called to a coach "well alight" near Blunsdon shortly before 4.20am.

All the coach's passengers had managed to get off the vehicle by the time firefighters reached the blaze, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said. 

One lane of the A419 southbound remains closed. Police had earlier closed both lanes.
