The Met Office has extended its yellow weather warning until 10am on Monday morning, with more snow forecast overnight.
A Met Office forecaster said: "There will be snow across many areas at first on Sunday. This continuing across some parts throughout the day, often heavy and persistent, giving further significant accumulations.
Easterly winds have made it feel bitterly cold this weekend. There are amber and yellow weather warnings still in place for #snow and #ice today, with a chance of travel disruption, especially in the South West. Find out more with Aidan McGivern #weatheraware pic.twitter.com/kpmmqi8y36
