A MAN has been taken ill at Swindon Bus Station.
A witness saw police cars, a fire engine and a person being taken into an ambulance on a stretcher at the station around 5pm today.
The police confirmed that the incident was not a police matter and that a man had fallen ill on a bus at the station.
It is unclear as to whether this will affect bus services in the town centre.
The Adver contacted the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service control room for more information about the incident but they couldn't process our request as they were experiencing "an unprecedented level of demand" and were extremely busy.
