THE Cross Keys in Wanborough has received a £280,000 makeover by independent family brewers.
The popular Wiltshire country pub now benefits from an additional 30 covers, which have been created by a new extension with views over the pub garden.
Speaking about the renovation, Denise Sheridan, regional development manager for Wadworth, said, “We are delighted with the extension at the Cross Keys.
"By removing an old conservatory and building a much larger area we are now able to accommodate all the people that drive to the pub to enjoy food.
"The additional covers mean that diners will not be disappointed when they visit as there are so many more tables”.
The revamp is part of several investments in the region by the Wiltshire-based brewer, Wadworth, which also operates several pubs in the region.
Ten rooms have been refurbished at the Kings Arms in Melksham and the historic Waggon and Horses pub in Beckhampton has had an internal redecoration.
