The Conservative cabinet at Swindon Borough Council has been reshuffled.
Two members will step down and be replaced at the full council meeting on September 20.
Coun Garry Perkins will stop work as the member for town centre and regeneration in order to devote more time to his business. He will continue as ward councillor for Haydon Wick and will be replaced in cabinet by Coun Dale Heenan.
Coun Fionuala Foley will also step down as cabinet member for highways and the environment. She will be replaced by Coun Maureen Penny.
Leader of the council David Renard said “I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to Councillor Perkins and Councillor Foley for all their support and hard work over many years. This is an administration dedicated to delivering for the town on the commitments we have made to the voters, and that means continuing to have a strong team at the top. With this reshuffle I am confident that we have the right people in the right posts to meet the future ambitions of Swindon Borough Council”.
