M4 partially blocked after car hits deer (Image: Durham Constabulary)
THE M4 was partially blocked eastbound after a pile-up involving a number of cars.
Highways England said one of the vehicles involved had struck a deer.
Two lanes were closed eastbound between J14 and J15 of the M4.
The accident is understood to have happened after midnight.
