POLITICS: North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson announced he and wife Kate were expecting their first child.
The MP, who married office manager Kate Bennett in October, took to social media to announce the expected arrival. The baby is due in July.
Mr Tomlinson said: “Kate and I are very excited to be expecting our first child. This is something we have very much been hoping for. A busy 2019 lies ahead.”
Fellow Swindon MP Robert Buckland tweeted: “Many congratulations to you both.” Conservative MPs Dr Caroline Johnson and Vicky Ford added their own congratulations
On Twitter, Simon Routh-Jones, former chief fire officer at Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: “Many congratulations to you both.” Lynda Thomas, chief executive of charity Macmillan Cancer Care, added: “Huge congratulations.”
