EVERYONE dreams of a lottery win, but have you ever wondered who ends up with the cash?
We've covered numerous stories of streets and neighbours who have scooped prizes on the People's Postcode Lottery; some life-changing and others less so.
The lottery - which is different to the National Lottery in that it operates by people's postcodes and makes all the locations of winning areas public - is played every week by thousands of people across the UK.
It also gives a minimum of 32 per cent from each subscription directly to charities and good causes across Great Britain and internationally.
And with prizes handed out each week, as well as a monthly 'posctode millions' draw, we've looked into the data to compile a list of every postcode in the SN area that has bagged a large prize in the last 12 months.
MORE NEWS: Some households managed to triple their winnings.
Since this time last year, 718 postcodes got a cash prize of £1,000 or over - with a whopping £3,928,816 won in total.

How does the Postcode Lottery work?
People play with their chosen postcodes for a chance to win cash prizes and winning postcodes are announced every day.
Only playing postcodes are entered into our draws, so all prizes must be won.
It costs £10 to be entered into all of the draws, paid monthly in advance.
Weekly prizes include £1,000 for every player whose postcode is drawn as one of 20.
And each month, the monthly Postcode Millions prize draw sees a postcode sector all win a share of £3 million.
