BREXIT Party MEP hopefuls will descend on Swindon's county ground days before the European Elections this month.
The newly-formed party is organising a meet-and-greet with its five candidates on Monday May 20, right before voters go to the polls in Swindon on Thursday May 23.
The party's candidates for the south west include former Tory MP Ann Widdecombe who has made a return to front-line politics to join Nigel Farage's new party.
There are also some surprising figures to bolster the party ranks, including ex-marine James Glancy, an environmental conservationist and broadcaster for the Discovery channel, and former Royal Navy officer Roger Lane-Nott.
Joining them will be candidates Christina Jordan, Ann Tarr and Nicola Darke.
There are 47 candidates standing for election in the region across nine political groups, including the pro-EU Change UK, which includes Rachael Johnson, sister of front bencher Boris, as one of its candidates.
Those elected are unlikely to be in office for long however - as it stands the UK will leave the EU on October 31, regardless of the outcome of negotiations in Westminster.
Although if a deal is reached between Labour and the Conservatives Britain could leave the EU well before that date.
The event will be at the county ground legend's lounge on May 20 from 7 - 9pm.
There will be a chance to meet candidates them followed by a Q&A.
