The Homebase store at Greenbridge retail park will be shutting its doors for good on August 23.
New 'Store Closing' banners have appeared under the main sign of the home and garden retailer.
The company has been in negotiations with landlords to secure rent agreements since 2018.
A Homebase spokesperson confirmed the August 23 closing date and said: “For the Homebase store in Drakes Way, Swindon, we have been unable to come to an agreement that works for both parties and as such, landlords for these stores have exercised their right to end the lease.
"Our priority is to support our affected team members who have shown us loyalty and energy throughout what has been an unsettling time.”
It was reported in 2018 that both of Swindon's stores would close after Homebase announced 42 stores across the UK would be shut.
The store at the Orbital shopping centre in north Swindon has already been closed and is set to be revamped into three new stores which are yet to be announced.
The loss of the Greenbridge store adds to the growing list of failed stores at the retail park, including PC World (which joined Currys), Maplins and Office World.
